Dakota Safety Council for personnel to be permitted to work at the site.
May 2008 – July 2009 Irshigs: Duke Power Plant Safety Manager
Safety Manager on-site at Duke Power with the following responsibilities: Site
surveys, chemical inventories, disposal of hazardous waste, equipment
inspection, safety meetings, training, orientation, accident investigations,
regulatory enforcement, site reports, etc. Maintained and used air monitors
including Photon Ionization Monitors and 4-gas meters. The project was heavy
industrial construction building a new power plant facility including but not
limited to the following operations: Fall Protection, PPE, Scaffolds, Excavations,
Electrical, Confined Spaces, Hand Tools, Masonry and Concrete, Steel Erection,
Riggins, etc.
Dec 2007 – Apr 2008 Hamon Custodis: Safety Manager
Provided Safety management at multiple power plants under construction with
the following responsibilities: site surveys, equipment inspection, safety
meetings, training, orientation, accident investigations, regulatory enforcement,
site reports, etc. Heavy construction installing plant chimney including steel
erection, rigging, pre-cast concrete, pour in place concrete, 35,000 lb liners, etc.
Sep 2007-Oct 2007 Great Lakes Environmental: Elm Creek Power Plant, WI

equipment inspection, safety meetings, training, orientation, accident
investigations, regulatory enforcement, site reports, etc. Construction and
installation of Chimneys involving rebar, pour-in-place concrete, transportation,
and riggings of 35,000 lbs liners, critical crane lifts, etc.

Nov 2006-Mar 2007 Stadelmann Electric – Data Center Project: Field Safety Manager
Site Safety Audits, safety meetings, in charge of all safety regulations and
enforcement for over 200 employees.
Sep 2006 – Nov 2006 David Electric: Field Safety Manager
Permit enforcement and verification for refinery including hot work, electrical,
mechanical, maintained documentation for site. Site Safety Audits, regulations
enforcement, over 150 employees at the site.
Sept 2005 – Sep 2006 Mid-State Electric: Field Safety Manager
Site Safety for construction of Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Responsibilities including:
Site audits, regulation enforcement, cast in place concrete, pour in place concrete,
excavations, scaffolding, etc. Project was completed with no recordable incidents. Upon
completion of the project I was used as a site auditor for Wal-Mart at the store
construction sites.
1997 – 2005 Goss International (formerly Heidelberg) Shift Safety Manager
Group Leader for second shift responsible for all safety compliance including but not
limited to: work coordination, equipment inspection, scheduling, safety regulation
compliance, interviewing, hiring, evaluations, development of safety assembly methods,
enforcement of safety and quality standards.
1994 – 1997 Odawara Automation: Special Machine Builder
Custom builder of armature, and stator equipment, reworked parts to specifications using
lathes, mills, and surface grinders, responsible for configuring component for customer
applications, responsible for following all OSHA regulations.

Constructed bindery and newspaper equipment, worked closely with the engineering
department to help design and build prototype equipment, responsible for OSHA and
Company safety enforcement for my team.
