annual save

Implementing and installing RF System for better inventory management - $86,000.00

annual save

"Winterization" of mix tank to enable year round Bugwash production - $45,000.00

annual save

Managed non-capital engineering projects to improve site safety performance by

addressing potential safety hazards. Led the maintenance team on local maintenance

projects to improve equipment uptime and improve equipment reliability. Worked with

maintenance team to implement a robust PM program on site.

Led the deployment and implementation of Honeywell's lean platform - HOS across the

site. Delivered savings in material replenishment, direct ship to customer, reduced

inventory, head count, and cycle time. The Prestone site was certified as a HOS

BRONZE site under my leadership in June 2011.

Maintained leading KPI on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory.

Managed 2 departments - a team of 14 employees, including engineers, technicians and

operators.

Used Honeywell Performance Development process to track and plan employee career

progress.

Shared Center of Excellence best practices in electrodes manufacturing with other

Honeywell sites.

Project leader on six sigma greenbelt project to reformulate platinum and iridium

inks used in the manufacture of gas detection electrodes for gas sensors. Competent

in statistical analysis using Minitab.

New sensors had better process capability and faster response time than the obsolete

sensors.

Employed 6? tools including but not limited to process map, capability analysis,

ANOVA, FMEA.

Responsible for implementing HOS initiatives in electrode and exotics manufacturing

facilities including; 5S, visual management, standard work, tiered meetings, kaizen

events, and rapid problem solving.

Supported multi-site project to develop a more robust oxygen gas detector with

longer operation life than previous oxygen gas detector. Developed a process to

remove the flux (poisoning agent) from the electrode core prior to detector

assembly. Project was initiated as a result of Honeywell's 'One Sensor' initiative.

Led the exotics gas detection line improvement project. Improved rolled throughput

yield for exotic gas detectors from 55% to 76%. Implemented robust tests for better
