. Relocated an office. Worked with real estate executives to sell a
building, locate and negotiate a lease on a new facility, and physically
move to a new office with 4 hours of downtime.
. Selected and implemented a filing system for converting 5 million hard
copy pages of policy owner files to an electronic system. Provided
immediate access to files by multiple users and served as a system for
disaster recovery.
. Assisted senior management team with the implementation of a succession
plan and development of a process to identify the strengths and training
needs of individuals within the organization.
. Managed an old building. Identified vendors and negotiated contracts for
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, etc.
. Serve(d) on not-for-profit boards and committees to support company and
personally give back to the community. Has included Child Care Solutions

Compensation/Benefits
. Oversaw the administration of four defined benefit pension plans and
three 401(k) plans. Ultimately froze the pension plans and "merged" the
401(k) plans into a single plan.
. Completed welfare benefit reviews, assessed the needs, negotiated
contracts and implemented changes in all benefits on an as-needed basis
to support the changing needs of employees and the organization.
Automated the annual benefits enrollment process.
. Worked with outside compensation firms to benchmark positions and review
total compensation for executives, exempt and non-exempt employees.
