1. 1 year research experience in CSIR lab NEERI, Nagpur in environmental

field (defluoridation of drinking water) as a Project Assistant from

September 07 to July 08 under Dr. Sadhna Raylu.

1. Defluoridation of waste water using low cost bioadsorbents.The project

is in collaboration with ALCOA Company (USA).

2. Defluoridation of drinking water using low cost adsorbents .The

project is in collaboration with UNICEF India.

material for environmental applications" in NEERI, Nagpur.

LABORATORY TECHNIQUES KNOWN:-

1. UV & Visible Spectrophotometer: To evaluate absorption of molecules.

2. FTIR: To detect functional groups of molecules

3. Fluoride ion selective electrode: To evaluate Fluoride ion

concentration in natural & synthetic water in various defluoridation

experiments.

4. Potentiometer: For various acid base, complexometric, redox &

precipitation titration.

5. Conductometer: for various acid base, complexometric, redox &

precipitation titration.

6. Ph Meter: Determine ph of mixture of acids.

7. Spectrophotometer: Determination of Pka value of indicators,

Spectrophotometric titration like acid base, redox & complexometric.

8. Paper Chromatography: To determine migration of solute relative to

solvent.

9. TLC: To determine migration of solute relative to solvent in glass

plates.
