departments of an FDA regulated business. Duties included the management of five (5) technical
resources while serving as single point of contact for technical issue resolution and project initiative
management. Project workload included process reliability improvement and scrap reduction efforts
while managing a $3.0 million budget. Consistently managed 5 to 7 projects simultaneously with budgets
of $20,000 to $500,000. Improved packaging reliability and throughput by 15% through focused
improvements in maintenance and personnel capability.
1998 – 2001 -- Sr. Technical Engineer Plant Engineering
Tissue-Towel Converting
Accountable for project management, planning and execution of initiatives for converting systems of a
22-line kitchen roll towel and bath tissue operation. Business-wide resource in pack systems start-up and
de-bottlenecking efforts. Led the start-up of a $13 million effort to double packing capacity of a kitchen
roll towel operation. Single point of contact for the start-up of a $7.9 million project to add additional
packaging flexibility to a bath tissue operation. Managed several smaller projects simultaneously within
the scope of $15,000 to $300,000.
