Skills
I have many years of experience in the Macintosh environment; Adobe
Creative Suite 3-5; Quark 8 and other graphics software across Macintosh
and Windows platforms. I am highly organized and possess
excellent typography skills, and a keen eye for detail.
I have expertise in all phases of pre-press, flexography, and offset
printing, from design and production; including branding and identity;
package design; advertising and project management.
Experience

On-site and freelance services. All phases of pre-press, flexography, and
offset printing, from design and production through postscript output (1-
4C+) and quality control.
Duties include project management, package design, advertising design and
layout.
Design Guest Lecturer
Columbia College of Chicago, Chicago, IL.
Lead critiques for Branding and Identity module of Marketing Class for
Filmmakers. Work with undergraduate students to adopt a visual identity for
film projects(media kits, posters, press releases, etc.) as well as
corporate identity projects(business cards, letterhead, logo design).
07/05-11/09 Graphic Design/Visual Communications
MCPL-County Public Library System, Louisville, KY.
Board of Directors member in charge of Branding, PR, advertising and design
for County-wide Library System. From 2005-2008, I redesigned the
Institutions Identity; developed branding, advertising and outreach, which
led to heightened visibility in the community resulting in the necessary
financial support for an $8 Million LEED-Certified Construction project.
04/95-12/99 Graphic Designer/Production Artist
Clients include Pigment Design, Otherwise, Brann Blau Direct Edge, Chicago,
IL.
Production and design studio duties for clients such as Sears, American
Express and Visa. Duties included layout, preflighting, project management
on direct mail campaigns, and print advertising.
04/90-12/94 Graphic Designer/Package Designer
Electrolux Corporation, Marketing Division, Bristol, VA.
Responsible for: Branding, Corporate Identity, Technical Illustration,
Packaging
(POP, POS), Product Development and prototyping. Direction of product
photography sessions for promotion and literature. Worked with Marketing
and Engineering teams to develop product lines for consumer appliances.

Community Involvement
Real Housing Collective. Volunteer for group that is a sustainable
community design/build project in Brazil that links young artists and
designers from Chicago and S o Paulo, to the residents of a public housing
complex in Igara , Brazil.
Ravenswood Community Services. Volunteer Coordinator.
Food bank distribution and personal services to over 300 neighbors weekly.
West Humbolt Park Development Group.
Consultant for community-based farmers market branding, urban agricultural
and mural projects in 2010.
