Re: Carls Diaz
To whom it may concern,
I am privileged to have the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Carls Diaz. Mr.
Diaz was assigned as a youth worker through the Summer Youth Employment Program at Ruben
F. Salazar Park in East Los Angeles, California in 2010. During his assignment he showed great
leadership skills and took initiative to prepare for park programs without being asked to do so.
Mr. Diaz got along well with other youth workers as well as recreation staff at the park. One of
the many strong points Mr. Diaz was observed mastering was his organizational skills. Mr. Diaz
was assigned as scorekeeper during the Youth Baseball Program and he did it without mistakes.
Umpires and Coaches gave very good comments of Mr. Diaz after each and every game. Mr.
Diaz also proved to be strong with customer service when he worked at the Snack Bar. His cash
box always balanced and was never negative when reconciling at the end of the day.
Without going on with more, I would definitely recommend Mr. Diaz to any employer or
volunteer organization. It was a pleasure to have him during the summer period in 2010. Mr.
Diaz has kept in communication with me since then and contacts me every so often to ask how
things are going. For a young adult his age, he has shown a great deal of respect and
responsibility.
May you have any questions regarding this letter, please feel free to call me at Amelia Mayberry
