State Representative, Wyoming House District 43 State of Wyoming

Currently serving my fourth term in the Wyoming State Legislature representing House District 43 (eastern
Cheyenne). I serve as the vice-chairman of the Agriculture, Public Lands & Water Resources Committee and serve
on the Minerals, Business & Economic Development Committee. In addition I am serving my third appointed term as an
ex-officio member of the Wyoming State Building Commission along with the top five state-wide elected officials;
serving my fourth term on the Wyoming Workforce Development Council; serve on both the Legislative Facilities &
the Legislative Process sub-committee and serve as the Vice-Chair & Treasurer of the House Republican Caucus. I
have a strong rapport with state and local leaders throughout Wyoming, including state and local policy makers, state
agency directors, state appointed boards and non-profit and advocacy organizations.

Oversaw and implemented consulting and political strategies for the successful Matt Mead for Governor
exploratory campaign in 2010. As the first staff member hired, I was primarily responsible for setting up the
campaign office, locating and hiring the first staff members, the media consulting firm, hiring the campaign
database firm and planning and implementing the gubernatorial exploratory campaign which initiated in
November until the official campaign kick-off in January, 2010. Helped plan, organize and oversaw strategy for
the three kick-off locations including staff, logistics, media and speeches. Wrote press releases, handled media
inquiries, and worked with our marketing firm on candidate branding, logos, ad campaign strategies and radio and
television commercial design.

Agriculture

Oversaw special projects and programs for the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. Wrote and administered
grants for a wide variety of agricultural initiatives around the state of Wyoming. Served as the primary contact for
members of the Wyoming Board of Agriculture. Planned and coordinated the annual two-day Governor's Natural
Resource Tour for 200 policy makers throughout Wyoming. Handled correspondence and requests from the
Governor's Office, as well as inter-agency coordination of the Department with other state agencies.
Policy Analyst Governor Dave Freudenthal

Oversaw and helped implement the Governor’s environmental and agricultural policy agenda. Coordinated
weekly with the cabinet directors of natural resource related state agencies, including the departments of
Agriculture, Game and Fish, State Parks & Cultural Resources, the Livestock Board, State Lands, and the State
Engineer's Office. Wrote speeches, correspondence to constituents and state and federal leaders, policy briefs,
