. Serves in a management capacity, supporting the Terminal

Superintendent in achieving performance objectives through monitoring

and enforcement of all company policies and procedures, logistics and

project execution.

. Communicates, monitors and enforces compliance with all safety,

operating, environmental and business procedures/standards and

policies and management directives

. Works closely with other HESS departments and third party customers to

ensure marine, pipeline and other types of transfers are completed in

a safe, timely, efficient and cost effective manner

. Works with Federal, State and local officials in a professional manner

to ensure terminal compliance with all applicable procedures and laws

pertaining to terminal operations

. Responsible for the oversight of terminal equipment and preparing

distribution terminal business as a focal point for internal and

external customers. The Terminal Operators are expected to safely

perform all duties related to the receipt, storage, and distribution

of petroleum products.

. Terminal Operators are required to work safely and independently with

minimum supervision. Under the general supervision of the Operations

Superintendent, the Terminal Operator's responsibilities include but

are not limited to:

. Receiving and loading Oil Tanker Vessels with petroleum products in a

safe manner and in accordance with all State and Federal laws and

regulations, and accordance with all company policies and procedures

. Perform line ups to and from process units in accordance with Terminal

Policies and Procedures

. Climbing, gauging, and sampling products and additive storage tanks

and performing quality assurance testing as required

. Generating daily accounting reports, recordkeeping, and making

computer related entries.

. Routine repair/replacement of terminal equipment, terminal

inspections, greasing valves, pumps, and loading rack equipment, lawn

maintenance, and building maintenance.

. Operates petroleum terminals dock crane and pipelines

. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating valves and manifolds

for vessel loading and off-loading and ensuring required procedures

are followed as required by the company and USCG;

. Operating valves and manifolds for product receipt from supplies via

pipeline, tanker or barge, tank truck, and rail car deliveries;

. Performing personnel training; maintaining department operations

reports and records; participating in emergency response drills;

. Performing fuel quality control testing;

. Performing janitorial and ground maintenance functions; and the

ability to comply with attendance/tardiness standards.
