. The influence of interactivity and online store atmospherics of a 3-d

retail store in Second Life on consumer purchase intentions

. The subject area explored crucial features of Second Life (a 3D

virtual world) retail stores which affect consumers' intent to

purchase from these stores.

. Designed questionnaire, reviewed literature, hypotheses, collected

data from Second Life consumers, tested reliability, factor analyses,

analyzed data, correlation tests among the dependent and independent

variables, conducted regression analysis.

. The thesis was comprised of 115 pages with detailed literature review

on Second Life, result interpretation, implications, and limitations.

. Results provided better insight into the consumer behavior in Second

Life and classified potential consumers who are more likely to buy

Second Life retail stores.
