As a promising business leader, I, Alicia Bornes, a previous HISD employee have been placed back into unemployment
status due to budget cuts. I started in December 2007 as WHS Hourly Magnet Clerk until July 09. I’m an extremely good
worker with my evaluation clerk forms stating I meet the requirements, and seeking full time employment as your Business
Analyst. I volunteered in the education department for many years even at Westside High School in Attendence where I
became their Magnet Clerk and loved it.
I’ve experienced inputting students in Chancery as T-Tardy, A-Absence, and Ex-Excused, verified tardy notes
from parents, inputting data for the upcoming (changeover) year for prespective future students in Chancery,
interact with students, parents and staff, helped with taking ID pictures, printing, and distributing, Writing tardy
passes, As a Magnet Clerk, I Process applications, Data Entry, Filing, Office Machinery, Telephone Skills, Process
Reports, Mail Processing & Distributing, Supplies
My primary success I’ve worked in Management and as an office assistant in the main office for many years. I know what it
takes to accomplish goals, analyze reports, financial statements, and solving problems. I’m a Bachelors Degree applicant
and study Business for many years. I have my college Associates Degree with a 3.44 in Business & my Bachelors of 3.60
in Management. I'm dedicated in the working environment to improve the quality of learning skills for our future tomorrow.
I practice effective working skills, with 10+ years of experience in organizational skills, and am always willing to learn
more. I believe I can help maintain that professional transition that's required. My business environment was always
professional, self-governing in my individualistic judgement and communication. I believe I’m fair-minded, influential, able
