Zilog's 8 bit Z8 encore XP 4K microcontroller-Z8F042A. Z8F042A
has inbuilt programmable extended peripherals and is the
latest release of Zilog. The environment worked on was Zilog
IDE. C programming involved the use of several ISRs, pointers
and queues.

Technical Details - Projects:
Involved in a project that dealt with the design and
development of a console system with Vacuum fluorescent
display, keyboard, switches and FPROM functionalities using
RS232 and RS422 communication. Developed the driver functions
for these functionalities in assembly and C and tested the
whole setup. The processor worked on was Intel 80C186 embedded
processor.
Developed a frequency synthesizer module using ADF4113
synthesizer, which was programmed using 8 bit 8051
microcontroller in Keil RTOS.
Developed and tested the VME-Versa Module Emulator discrete
I/O card. The complete glue logic was implemented in CPLD.
Designed and developed a non-contact temperature detector
module, which detects the temperature of any object and
displays it on the LCD using AD(C812 controller.
Designed and developed a data acquisition card with ADSP 2181,
ADC and DAC. The project involved assembly programming of
ADSP-2181.
Involved in the design and development of Image Acquisition
card (Frame grabber) with embedded Xilinx Spartan2e FPGA,
Video Decoder-AD7184 and Video Encoder-AD7194. I2C logic and
Image processing of video signals were implemented using VHDL.

I was involved in the development of "Digital Temperature
Compensated Crystal Oscillator" for frequency stabilization
under various conditions. The project involved the hardware
design of Analog to Digital converter, Digital to Analog
converter, Temperature sensor and compensation network with
micro controller and RAM
Used C language with several interrupt service routines for
programming 8051 microcontroller.
