To Whom It May Concern:
I am a 2011 graduate of Concordia University, with a bachelor's degree in
Biology. I am seeking a sales representative position within a growth
oriented company where advancement and earnings are based upon performance
and achievement. I am used to putting in long hours to achieve goals that
need to be met. While a college student, I worked part-time and played
soccer where I gained the skills of time management and knowledge to always
do a task right the first time. I know I lack experience in medical sales,
but I have the confidence to know I will excel in sales once given the
chance at Confidential.
I learned and honed my communication skills through my school work, sports,
and employment. As an employee at Texas Roadhouse, Journey's Shoe Stores
and Food Restaurant and Bar Company I learned how to make and develop
strong relationships with customers and be part of a team, while striving
for individual goals. I learned that communication is key when organizing
and leading volunteer work for Concordia University's biology club. My
biology degree will provide me the background knowledge to expand my
understanding in the medical sales field.
I know how to adapt to new environments and work with different types of
people. I learned these skills growing up in a military family whose family
moved frequently, I work hard and learn fast. In conclusion, I know that
my strong work ethic and drive to succeed, as well as my enthusiasm to
learn will make me a great addition to your company. I know I will make a
positive contribution to this company and look forward to discussing my
capabilities in more detail. My enclosed resume provides additional details
about my background. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Katherine Eikenberg
