2006 - 2010 PLANT MANAGER EASTERN WHOLESALE FENCE, MEDFORD N.Y.
I was responsible for operations of 2 manufacturing plants for production
of Vinyl gates and Wood fence products. Through lean management practices
and production throughput improvements in the Vinyl gate shop; labor
requirements were reduced by 50% while productivity was increased. The
increase in productivity and process improvements reduced assembly time by
50%, this reduced costs and increased profitability. I successfully
improved the quality of our gates by looking at the design and suggesting
improvements that would increase the strength of the gates which reduced
the number of customer complaints and returns. In August, 2009 I was given
the Plant Manager job in the Wood Mfg. Department in addition to the vinyl
gate operation. I also provided all required safety training for new
employees. I was member of our safety team.
Managed two fabrication facilities and worked closely with the Plant
supervisor of each facility to determine priority.

I oversaw the entire process from pre-weighing raw materials to final
packaging where 140 employees manufactured nutritional bars. On my shift,
since July 2003, with my leadership, production increased from 3 million
units per month to over 5 million units per month. Waste was reduced by
over 50%. I also taught the team concept to my supervisors, and leaders.
I was responsible for the efficient manufacturing and continuous
improvement of all company products and processes, ensuring that product
quality, employee safety, and food safety standards, as well as regulatory
requirements, were met or exceeded.

2002-2003 MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR WATSON LABROTORIES INC.
COPIAGUE, N.Y.
I supervised 20 Manufacturing Operators in the production of Nicotine Gum.
I provided training on cGMP's, and SOP's, and ensured that they were
followed by the operators. I am familiar with the process of deviations
from protocol, and initiating corrective actions that result from the
deviation. I reviewed Batch Records throughout the Mfg. Process and signed
off on the integrity of the data. I maintained supervisory presence in the
manufacturing area through monitoring and control of manufacturing
processes. I made sure Good Housekeeping Procedures were followed in
addition to being compliant with all departments, federal, and company
regulations.
2002 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR LUITPOLD PHARMACEUTICALS INC. SHIRLEY,
N.Y.
Responsibilities included overseeing daily operation of Aseptic filling
area, ensuring the principles and practices of cGMP are followed. I have a
good working knowledge in the theory and practice of Aseptic technique,
sanitization, and environmental monitoring. I also released filling lines
at the start of the production run.
2001 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR OLGA G. MARCUS COSMETICS INC. HAUPPAUGE,
N.Y.
Responsibilities included supervision of team of 30 employees (line workers
and mechanics) engaged in filling and packaging of various cosmetics on
automated machinery for contracted vendors. I worked with Quality
Assurance, Compounding, as well as planning departments. I was working on
process improvements in the lipstick area, to reduce cost of production up
to 50% at the time I was laid off.
1998-2001 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR ESTEE LAUDER COMPANIES INC. MELVILLE,
N.Y.
Responsibilities included supervision of team of 50 employees including
line workers, mechanics, and quality assurance engaged in the filling and
packaging of various cosmetics such as creams, lotions, liquids, lipstick,
and mascara in bottles, tubes, vials as well as other components on high
speed semi automatic and automated machinery. Filling machinery includes
rotary and piston nozzle fillers, as well as packaging with shrink-wrap,
cartoning and overwrap machines. The goals I set for my team was to meet
and exceed daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production requirements
with optimal efficiency. I was a leader amongst the supervisors on my
shift. I was involved in making sure shift production priorities were
followed in other work areas aside from my own. My peers knew they could
always approach me for advice, and direction, while my superiors could
count on me to do so. I have a high degree of flexibility and adaptability,
which is necessary to meet deadlines. I interacted with quality assurance,
planning and staging departments on a daily basis, as well as during the
shift to coordinate shift-to-shift responsibility. I possess a good

I was a liaison between nursing, administrative and sales staff in
conjunction with regional and corporate offices, as well as distribution
