General Manager of the $45 million Division servicing consumer goods
companies and commercial printers in North and South America, executing
brand designs on all forms of packaging through 240 employees in 9
locations across the United States. Evaluated domestic and international
acquisition opportunities, and negotiated key customer, supplier, and
employment agreements.
. Established technology collaboration with a German subsidiary to land
major new sales account with expected revenue in excess of $3 million

Director, Supply Chain Operations (2001 - 2008)
General Manager of the Warehouse, Material Distribution, Injection Molding,
and Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) Operations in the $750 million Television
Assembly Division, with 200 employees reporting. Set up and launched
manufacturing and distribution FTZs in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and
Chicago. Also responsible for establishing new businesses at the 400 acre
campus.
. Won Federal approval of Sony's unique Foreign-Trade Zone. Garnered
project support from Pennsylvania's Governor, US Senators, and local
and US Congressmen as needed. Managed the program to achieve over $33
million in savings in five years. Expanded the FTZ program to all Sony
Electronics US distribution operations.
. Developed interfaces across multiple business units and computer
platforms (SAP/Oracle/i2) to ensure accurate reporting for import
compliance. Converted to self-filing with US Customs to reduce
compliance costs.
. Constructed and implemented ground-breaking aspects of the Sony FTZ
program that were recognized nationally by election to the Board of
Directors of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones.
. Synchronized Sales and Marketing activities with supply chain efforts

. Transferred the majority of Sony's plasma television business from

. Introduced and passed duty suspension legislation in the US Congress to

employees. Aperture Grilles are photochemically machined from thin steel,
and are a key component of Trinitron televisions. Negotiated sales
agreements with customers throughout Asia, Europe, and Japan. Responsible
for Division P&L.
. Increased revenue 28% within 18 months by negotiating domestic and
international sales supply agreements.
. Created and led a large Six Sigma project which improved manufacturing

. Devised and executed an outsourcing strategy with a Mexican

Responsible for the $5 million 90 person organization, a U.S. subsidiary of
an overseas firm. This manufacturer of high reliability defense and
aerospace electronics supported major space flight and military programs
for customers including Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and Loral.
Awards included work on the F-22, Space Shuttle and GPS satellites.
. Awarded Westinghouse (now Northrup Grumman) Supplier of the Year and
Loral Partner in Excellence Awards for product quality, delivery, and
customer service.
