components, as well as estimating and design techniques enables me to be a positive

D uties – Receive bidding documents from Business Developer . Perform site visit

before each takeoff and conduct i nitial and final internal pre-bid meetings to

d iscuss scope and general job information with Business Developer, Chief Estimator

and operations personnel. Download plans into On-Center Takeoff software and

perform takeoffs. Type RFI’s to the client to which the bid was requested. Send RFQ’s

to each appropriate supplier /vendor. Perform spreadsheet price comparisons of all

material that will be required for the bid. Q ualify a ll qualifications t hat were not

answered by the RFI. Assist the material procurement team in locating and securing

l andscape materials.

HEAD LANDSCAPE ESTIMATOR/DESIGNER YEARS EMPLOYED 2005-

2008

Duties – Receive bidding documents from Sales Support Staff. Perform Takeoffs and

verify pricing with vendors. C reate proposals and bid documents and send to

Sales Support Staff and /or client. Design l andscape for homeowners and

estimate. Procure and purchase landscape materials from vendors and made sure

t hey arrive at the job site or the holding facility. Joint r esponsibility between myself

a nd Chief Estimator for the estimating team, making sure all bidding documents

a re current and all specifications were taken account in each bid, collaborate with

Chief Estimator for the approval of the proposal amount and scope and make sure all

p roposals are sent out on time. Familiar with plotters, digitizers, scale masters.

Occasionally go to job sites and take measurements, make sure work is getting done

p roperly and the plant material is healthy. Responsible for my own and others takeoffs

and proposals.

Denton Bible Church, Denton, Texas

Duties – Opened church campus Sunday Mornings, set up for classes, monitored

A /C and lights for all buildings, checked on status of other buildings, and made

sure everything was running smoothly. After church was over, I locked up

buildings, cleaned up and made sure everything was orderly and neat for the

evening service. As a grounds keeper, I was responsible for pruning trees, weeding

f lowerbeds, and planting and designing new flowerbeds.

COMPUTER OPERATOR YEARS EMPLOYED 1999-

2003

Sally Beauty Company, Denton, Texas

Duties – Ran daily, weekly, and monthly profit and inventory reports. Ran daily,

weekly, and monthly AS-400 backups. Also monitored multiple warehouse lines,

and four IBM AS-400 systems. Performed routine checks of equipment and

t roubleshot equipment when there was a problem.

Duties – Accept Checks from Proof, ran checks through sorter, and balance

m ultiple check runs.

Duties – Accept coin and currency from Federal Reserve and other branches, ran

coin through coin rolling machines, balance multiple coin runs, put coin in main

vault. Daily balancing of the vault. Also, multiple daily runs to five ATMs to

balance and replenish currency.
