controlling the scope of work performed, measuring quantities, checking
invoices for accuracy, and managing payroll. Annual revenue of
approximately 1 million to 1.5 million.
First Texas Homes: Project Manager

Responsible for managing new home construction in new
subdivisions. Set up new office/model and managed all aspects of
construction; including locating and hiring contractors, inspection of the
building phases, and quality control.
Aviall Jet Engine Test Facility: A/P Mechanic
Grand Prairie, TX. Jan. 1994-June 1998
Responsible for receiving jet engines and installing test equipment
for test runs. Other duties include breaking down and shipping engines to
be rebuilt and testing prior to shipping to customers.
Texas Dept. of Transportation Chief Inspector
Ft. Worth, TX. Sept. 1985-Jan. 1994
Responsible for the inspection of new road and bridge construction.
Inspected ROW prep and RCP placement to line, grade, and inlet
construction. Experience in all aspects of new road construction from
treated sub-grades (lime-treated and flex-base) to hot mix and/or
continuously reinforced concrete paving, driveways, and approaches. Other
duties include measuring quantities to pay contractors and inspecting all
work to meet specifications for plans. In charge of large projects ranging
from 1-4 million dollars; such as road widening, bridge removal and bridge
replacements.

Worked on survey crews in new road and bridge construction. Duties
included positioning and locating line for the new construction of roads,
as well as shooting elevation and line on bridge construction.

Responsible for overseeing the framing of new homes, town homes,
apartments, and condominiums. Duties include scheduling crews, coordinating
and ordering materials, the measurement and inspection of work and payroll.
