Objective:
To work as a professional in the technical service, sales or management field of an
Agriculture production firm, industrial firm, food production firm or manufacturing
firm.
Qualifications:
I have managed people independently and in large groups on a daily and weekly
basis. I have much experience in problem solving and working well without
supervision. I have supervised broiler farms and breeder farms successfully. I also
have experience installing equipment, setting up environmental controllers, and
installing and repairing computerized scales. I have extensive skills in training and
in management, having acted as interim department manager between
supervisors. I have purchasing and inventory control experience as well after being
in charge of the dept. supply room and in charge of purchasing for it. I am very
hands on and have extensive experience with construction and set up of new
broiler and breeder houses. I was in charge of overseeing all new house
construction and final inspection prior to passing them for use.

Duties included working pre load shift, driving air exceptions,
unloading trucks, and sorting packages. I was in training for a regular
route upon finishing college.
1992 1995 Con Agra Broiler Co. Gainesville, GA. Broiler tech
Over two different areas, one of which was ranked lowest in the
department. Within three months the area attained the top ranking
and maintained that slot during my tenure. Responsible for
administering vaccines, for feed practices, ventilation, lighting, heat,
new constructions, and special projects. I was responsible for 28 to
30 farms.
1995 2002 Con Agra Broiler Co. Gainesville, GA. Senior/Lead
Breeder tech at Con Agra responsible for 14 or more breeder flocks
and in charge of training all new employees. Experienced in
weighing, health, feeding, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. At
one time, I was in charge of peaking 2/3 of all the birds in the
department. I have been a farm manager of a contract farm and dealt
with all phases of the hen operation of the breeder department. For
the last 3 years I was in charge of all construction and grower
training of new farms. Top producing area for five years in a row. In
charge of dept. supply room, ordering and dealing with vendors and
setting up delivery. I inventoried the contents each week, figured
usage and set orders according to estimates.
2002 present Twin Oaks Farm
Stay at home dad and farm manager stayed at home kept three
children 2 preschool and one school age, also remodeled house and
managed 43 acre cattle,show goat and hay farm.
2005 2009 The Little School, Teacher
Teach pre schoolers, building maintenance, and fundraising –
part time job. This was a year long contract job I left to seek full time
employment.
