Managed the administration of re-credentialing for
12 Medicare providers at the Washoe Tribal Health
Center. Interviewed the professionals, searched
files and assembled supporting documents.
Collaborated with two senior centers to organize
the first "Honor the Elders" month for the Washoe
Tribe, resulting in a month full of physical
activity, trips and a dinner to honor all the
elders of the tribe. Completed grants writing
course and, with assistance of a grants writer,
wrote a grant for a start-up program.
Edited and produced four editions of a quarterly
Wellness and Diabetes Program newsletter using
Microsoft Publisher. Managed contributors, time
lines and deadlines. Educated countless people on
diabetes management and the Medicare Prescription
Drug Plan. Assembled a "Healthy Eating for the
Holidays" cookbook and distributed them at four
community dinners. Set up and supervised a Dance
Dance Revolution event at a youth retreat.

Worked with an eight-member crew to build a quarter
mile of new trail in four weeks. Researched bear,
mountain lion and rattlesnakes. Completed
ten-lesson environmental education programs on the
