According to the new rules of National Bank of Macedonia the new Chart
of Accounts (CoA) to be adopted by all banks in FYROM. The new CoA imposes
changes to the already implemented System in Alpha Bank AD Skopje.
This requires the changes in GL Mask, creating new GL through uploads
and changing the already booked transactions and also changes in the
product parameterization in various FLEXCUBE Modules.
Changes in accounts (from old to new) are not always one-to-one or
many-to-one, but also one-to-many based on pre-defined rules.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
First Investment Bank (FIB), Sofia Bulgaria converted their old Core
Banking System into the FLEXCUBE Universal Banking System along with the
Web Branch, Interface with the different payment system, FC@ Internet
Banking System, Work Flow, WSDL Interface and Online interface with the
third party Card Management System.
After the GAP analysis phase changes in almost all modules and also in
the Web Branch front office are done offshore and they are delivered in
four lots to onsite. Card management system interface (CMS) is an entirely
new online interface which is developed for the FIB requirement is tested
both in offshore and onsite.
FIB is one of the high volume sites with the customer accounts of 1.4
Million and 50K loans and nearly 1 million entries per day.
After the 18 Months of Implementation, FIB went live with FLEXCUBE UBS
on May 7th and successfully running with all modules and interfaces.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE PROJECT:
Being the Onsite team member/SPC of the project, my responsibilities are:
. Implemented the LOT2 Enhancement of the Front office application WEB
Branch which involved the major change in the architecture of Web
branch application.
. Involved in configuration, user training and supported the UAT
happened in On-site
. During the period of Aug 2007 to Oct 2007, supported the LOT3 Changes
from Offshore
. Involved in the LOT4 Changes and testing happened in Onsite from Nov
2007.
. Involved in the conversion and data migration activities. Worked along
with the project leader for the tuning of the conversion scripts and
also in tuning of End of Procedure.
