Planned & executed relocation to new facility, cutting $1.8MM from
plant warehousing budget for 2009. Established all logistics processes
for new facility.
Implemented numerous cost savings initiatives for 2009, enabling an
additional cut of $790K from the annual shipping budget over 2008.

Spearheaded WMS pilot project installation at Baltimore plant, saving

Initiated, justified & implemented project to install automated data
capture (AIDC) devices in production, tying new production to available
inventory instantaneously & with virtually no errors. Removed time
lost in reconciling production reports with warehouse inventory during

$8.8MM budget, to include timely, accurate & cost effective movement of
all inbound raw materials & outbound finished goods at three
warehousing locations.
Maintain strong working relations with unionized labor force (LIU of
North America, Local 572).
Lead staff of 6 direct reports & 85 indirects in three warehouse
locations, coordinating priorities with production, accounting,
purchasing, human resources and maintenance managers at local level.
Coordinate activities with customer service, transportation, supply
chain, legal and HR at corporate level.
