Provided direct support to young adults with serious mental illness (SMI),
substance abuse, and PTSD in a residential community based setting;
taught independent living skills such as self-care, household
management, and budgeting; through the use of positive behavioral
support, modeled social skills and provided support with finding and
maintaining employment; provided behavior coaching to support young
adults to develop hope, dignity, independence and fulfillment in their lives.
This mentoring allowed clients to build a positive role in their community
