GM/Partner
Took over all operations of the Silver Rose after sale of our
family businesses (Hotel, Spa and Winery) and property was canceled.
Reestablish all businesses and moved forward with operating these
businesses. Former buyers while under purchase contract operated our
businesses and ran it as if they were going to close the business,
because they were going to redevelop the property. We were left with a
hotel that had no reservations and a winery that had been marketed under
a different wine label. In 2009 hired a hotel management company to
operate the hotel, spa and events for property. I continued to operate
and rebuild a business at the winery and search for financing or a sale.
