Quality Technician\ Metrologist EXPERIENCE: 02/07 - present LaBarge, Inc

Pittsburgh, Pa My title is Receiving Quality Technician. Some of my duties

include document control, Incoming inspection of PCB boards, connectors and

other electrical components. Other responsibilities include incoming, in-

process and final rejections. I am also in charge of disposition

nonconforming product, implementing new processes or revising out of date

checking in process structural decking, checking in steel coils from

various companies, performing weld test, paint checks, weld checks,

checking galvanizing and keeping and updating quality records. I am also

responsible for going to the companies Plum plant for coil checks.

5/2005 - 06/2006 Ppg- Creighton, Pennsylvania Quality Technician My duties

include inspection of glass in process, process checks throughout the

plant, final inspection, Spc, training of new employees on the line,

special assignments, destructive and non- destructive testing. I also work

very closely with upper management regarding quality issues.

Hired to set up a revised quality department. Set up Spc program, cost

effective program, and update prior quality records, set up a calibration

program and create a quality manual.

Technician Responsibilities included inspection of processed parts, final

inspection, Spc, calibration, melt flow testing, production reports,

training of new employees, troubleshooting of processes. This company

produced parts for Msa, Hasbro and various other small companies.

duties included in- process inspection, final inspection, calibration,

first article inspection per engineer request, assist quality manager,

updating of quality records, special assignments, record keeping. This

company made parts for Chrysler, Msa, Siemens and various other companies.

2/2000 - 9/2002 Actco Tool & Mfg Meadville, Pennsylvania Quality Manager My

responsibilities included managing the quality department with 4 employees,

manage shipping department, 1 employee, perform internal audits on all

departments, perform customer and supplier audits, schedule jobs to be

inspected, update all quality records and manual, perform methodology on

all blueprints to be inspected by employees, perform first article

inspection on contracted jobs. I also attended weekly and monthly

management meetings and introduced new customers to the company.
