Director, Corporate Finance (Restructuring)

• As a Director in our Corporate Finance – Restructuring practice, I was responsible for quickly analyzing our clients supply

chain and vendor agreements to ensure continuity of operations upon commencement of a restructuring / bankruptcy and

producing profitability and 13-week cash flow forecasts utilizing divisional and corporate financials and industry analysis. To

secure financing, it was necessary to demonstrate short and long term sales projections as well as detailed cash flow projections

through complex financial modeling, working with various C-level executives at my clients to ensure accuracy of the

projections.

• Financial advisor for Hartmarx Corporation Chapter 11 and 363 Sale: Worked with team to prepare the Company for Chapter

11, including DIP modeling, liquidation analysis and negotiations with the lender group. Implemented and managed all aspects

of the Chapter 11 cash forecasting and liquidity management across 12 divisions, including variance analysis.

• Provided strategic planning for the Company’s 12 operating divisions, including review and restructuring of inventory

management, plant-level and divisional profitability analysis, resulting in the closing of three divisions.

• Financial Advisor during Chapter 11 for Delphi Corporation: Supported Strategic Planning Group with divisional forecasting,

profitability analysis and development and reaffirmation of the Plan of Reorganization at Delphi.

• Out of Court Financial Advisor to $40 million retail garden company: Advisor through forbearance negotiations and

restructuring; responsible for the development of a six month $20 million operating and cash budget for both divisions to

present to the lenders, resulting in $5 million in additional liquidity.

• Worked with senior management to produce a strategic plan for the Company’s two operating divisions, including potential

Joint Venture / Acquisition targets, to present to the equity group and bank to raise additional capital. Implemented various

restructuring initiatives, including headcount reductions and supply management.

• Out of Court Financial Advisor to $60 billion automotive company: Worked with team to design and implement cash and

working capital forecasting methodology and models across 10 divisions.

• Promoted from Senior Consultant to Director in December 2009.

Conway, Mackenzie & Dunleavy, Chicago, IL Summer 2006

Intern Consultant (Restructuring)

• Negotiated new terms and credit agreements with over 100 suppliers at a Tier II automotive supplier emerging from Chapter 11

as part of a Private Equity backed restructuring advisory role.
