Sr. PACKAGING MANAGER

I am 38 years old married man living in Lappeenranta, Finland. Together

with my wife we have a wonderful 3-months old baby girl.

I have graduated with B.Sc. in Automation from Espoo-Vantaa Polytechnic in

1998. After that I have been working with different technologies and areas.

For the last three years I have been working in Stora Enso Packaging as

Project Manager in Imatra's Research Centre.

I have also graduated with M.Sc. in New Packaging Solutions from

Lappeenranta University of Technology in 2010. My Master's thesis (Digital

printing in packaging industry) was related on traditional- and digital

printing, converting and especially cost comparison related to the package

manufacturing in both offline- and inline processes. My thesis was awarded

as the best final thesis in Stora Enso Imatra Mills in 2010.

During the time I have been working in Stora Enso, I have been deeply

involved with development and management of the Gallop machine line. Gallop

is a machine line for producing digitally printed packages in in-line

process. I have participated on designing and testing the machines and

signalling, customer installations, international trade shows, technical

sales, EMC & safety certification, documentation and service support. This

has also included lot of testing with wide variety of substrates. The work

has been fully international, including co-operation with different

partners and companies operating in global markets.

In the future I would like to continue developing myself continuously. I

see this position as a unique opportunity to learn more on different

aspects of the packaging technology and related processes. I like working

in the field of R&D and innovation. I consider myself as a multitalented

and well educated person who enjoys the challenges.

My hobbies include travelling, hiking, music and cross-country skiing.

Together with my wife we have a German Sheppard dog; he is now seven months

old. We have also two Siberian cats.
