Project Manager 2009 - Current

Working as a Government Contractor on a two year contract.

Responsible for leading a multi vendor team of 15 Analysts in a

project to replace NMCI with the Next Generation (NGEN) Navy

management model. Using ITIL V3 as the basis for the new management

model. Working with the Navy and other vendors to set direction and

manage to deliverables. Responsible directly for 4 analysts, to

include timesheets and performance reviews. Uses a matrix leadership

model to make the team successful and productive.

Cox Communications Chesapeake, VA

Manager, IT 2007 - 2009

Responsible for a team of 21 leaders and individual contributors

supporting the billing system, business intelligence reporting,

application development, and the interactive digital video platform.

Set direction and developed both non-exempt and exempt roles as well

as other leaders, while reporting directly to the Vice President

level. Participated in the cross functional leadership team that

managed the net gain and revenue strategy for the Hampton Roads

system. Lead the planning and operations of the Interactive Video and

Video on Demand product initiatives by working with Product Marketing

IT Applications Manager 2005 - 2007

Worked for a technology company that was both the outsourced IT

department for a large non-profit organization and a Microsoft ISV for

CRM 3.0. Responsible for a team of analysts and developers supporting

Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) and Direct Marketing

Automation systems. Lead the team defining and aligning the company's

IT service delivery processes to the ITIL framework. Helped to

implement a Project Management Office as the start of a professional

services line of business. Lead the upgrade project for Great Plains

to include the implementation of a web based time entry and HRM self-

service solution. Managed the skills development path of a staff that

has been developing in DOS/Foxpro based legacy systems to meet the

Responsible for the team that supports the Order Management Systems.

Used standard SDLC methodologies and project management skills to

implement upgrades of 3rd party applications, develop new in-house

applications, and modify existing systems. Coordinated efforts to

implement needed controls and procedures to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley

requirements. Directed the custom modification of the Order Mgmt

system to use a new co-branded credit card solution. Developed the

corporate plan to convert the current Order Management System from an

HP3000 platform to open client server systems. Developed the plan to

convert the legacy sales tax solution from mainframe to multi-channel

Java web service based solution. Recipient of semi-annual performance

Responsible for the development and growth of the Data Warehouse.

Lead the project team for implementation of new data feeds from

existing corporate systems. Used standard methodologies to identify

sources. Developed necessary ETL processes and reviewed other's work
