Supplier Manager
• Supplier Manager for Logistic supplier in New Mexico supporting Factory requirements which
i ncluded storage, delivery and shipments of all semiconductor activities in Fab 11X.
Responsible for management of 81 service representatives and a $6 Million budget.
Responsibilities included budget planning for head count, maintenance, packaging material,
and procurement of miscellaneous capital & non-capital items. Monitored contractor’s
compliance with the scope of work to ensure contract requirements were being met. M anaged
data control indicators, collection of volumes for activities & quarterly supplier report card
reviews. Represented Materials Services management in audits of supplier performance, and
headcount/work f low model management. Managed operational escalations and
t roubleshooting including stakeholder management, process improvement within M &D,
Shipping & Receiving, & New Mexico Stores operations. D irected the development of
purchasing contacts for sustaining ramp activities and out of scope requests, etc. Negotiated
and managed the SOW agreement for Schenker Logistics supporting logistic services for the
New Mexico site.

Commodity Specialist
• N ew Mexico site senior contract buyer for Applied M ate rial and Nikon. M anaged
$80 million Applied Material contract and $40 million Nikon contract. Responsible for the
development of numerous scopes of work (SOW) and overseeing 150 supplier service
E ngineering proficiencies. Managed many commercial issues to effective cost resolution.
Negotiated reimbursement warranty reversals with Applied Materials as well as Cymer,
resulting in total savings of
• approximately $3 million. Responsible for the management of spare part requirements to
support semiconductor tools for productions. Also managed inventory levels, production
p lanning, forecasting and monitoring delivery schedules. This included 24 supplier report
cards which grades supplier performance in areas of quality, service, technical expertise and
delivery performance, covering fourteen factory functional areas. Successfully negotiated DR
SEM service spares contract, one-of-a-kind service spared contract with AMAT.
• Corporate P rice Agreement (CPA) Team Representative that negotiated a 5 year
agreement with AMAT valued at $7 billion, which included the spares section of the contract.
I n preparation for the AMAT CPA negotiations, a comprehensive negotiation plan was
developed. Managed and negotiated the 5 year Nalco water t reatment agreement for Intel a
$35 Million dollar commercial agreement with savings of over 24 percent from the previous
agreement.
• P roject M anagement for the Total Supply Management (TSM) implementation team;
developed the Scope of Work for the TSM programs and successfully implemented the first
TSM programs in New Mexico. This TSM process was then used as the model throughout Intel
worldwide. Negotiated 100% buyback of Intel owned inventory valued at $6.3 million that was
obsolete material. Managed contract to ensure supplier met contract requirements and
addressed all commercial issues.
• T eam Leader. Recognized as a contract expert in New Mexico Intel site, and demonstrated
strong negotiating skills that resulted in the timely and successful completion of complex and
sensitive high value contract negotiations. Served as co-lead to the Tier I I supplier
management team, which managed all level I I contacts. Served as mentor for new buyers and
i nstructed them on Intel policies and procedures for preparing, managing and negotiating
contracts with Tier I I suppliers. Assigned as Total Supply Management (TSM) sub-team
leader and jointly developed the t raining manual and the TSM processes/procedures, which
were successfully implemented at other Intel sites. Mentored several buyers in the
development of negotiation plans and supplier management strategies.
P rogram Manager
• Served as Program Manager for 804 parts rodeo, technical reviews and qualification
of alternate suppliers, which resulted in $2 million cost savings for 804 and $3 million for OEM
during, cost reduction negotiations. Leadership role as negotiator in supporting Intel Buyers
on numerous commercial matters, supported Applied Materials, Nikon, parts clean SOW,
P rax-Air, K LA, Rite Track, Nova, ASML. Pentagon. I n addition assisted in the development of
Negotiation Plans, writing commercial letters and development of contract language for other
I ntel buyers. Total value of the contracts was about $100 million. Principal negotiator during
t he install/qualification (IQ) start dates for Fab 11 X ramp. Negotiated critical RTP SOW,
w hich supported one of a kind Fab process in factory.
• M anaged several task forces for various tools sets HDP and Cymer, both critical supply
l ine issues, which were successfully resolved. Created third party agreement (Hot Shot) to
support and manage Applied Materials expedite deliveries of after hour’s critical items for fab
11X. M anaged multiple service reduction requirements for Fab 11 and 11X, saving
approximately $3.5 million. Developed and implemented enhanced escalation procedures in full
compliance with current Applied Material corporate price agreement. The escalation process
defined the timelines for supplier response supporting warranty tools in New Mexico Intel
Fabs and defining escalation process to senior management.
