Objective: To take the skills that I have learned in life/education and use them to enrich any working

Qualifications: I have been working in management for the past four years with C & W Industries.
previously I worked as a teacher in the Atlanta area for five years. I am applying for this
position because I believe the skills I learned as an educator as well as my own personality
traits such as innovation, tenacity, creativity, and common sense will and do carry over into
the business world.

2006-May 2010: C&W Industries
Plant manager. Manage day-to-day operations of a metal fabrication plant which supplies
Garden displays for Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and the U.S. Postal Service. Duties
include managing employees, organizing a daily flow chart, quality control, and plant
safety director.
2004-2006 U.S. Postal Service
Assistant Postmaster. Duties included managing employees, finances, inside sales and
interacting with the public.
1998-2002 Teacher, Eagles Landing High School
Organized lesson plans and taught the following subjects per Georgia Curriculum: Honors
Geography, Geography, World History, and U.S. History. Communicated with
administrators, staff and parents on a daily basis. Organized a countywide multi-cultural
fair, mock trial coordinator, head tennis coach, and a sponsor for Special Olympics.
1998 Teacher, Jasper County Middle School
Filled in as a long-term substitute teacher. Duties included teaching typing and computer
skills.
1990-1996 U.S. Air Force Reserves
Surveying and Drafting. Responsibilities included assistance in surveying of property
Lines on various Air Force Bases across the world, Computerized Engineering and
Graphics, Water and Wastewater Treatment, and Soil Mechanics.

Worked as a glue line operator making plywood as a way to finance my college
education.
