resides, via MQ/Series. Also COBOL and Easytrieve programs were developed

to extract claim data (VSAM) from the mainframe, then translated and

formatted and then loaded to the Unix Oracle database where the claims are

then accessible to the claims processor for adjudication. Developed and

maintained Intervoice IVR applications which interfaced with the mainframe

via MQ/Series.

. Developed, enhanced and maintained Pega interface applications (COBOL)

for mainframe Pended Claims Processing using the following technologies:

COBOL, Easytrieve Plus, JCL, SyncSort, IDCAMS, MQ/Series, PegaConnect,

Shell Script, Unix, SQL, and PL/SQL software, which improved agent claims

processing time by 30%.

numerous mainframe (VSAM) files for source fields outlined by the

approved sourcing document.
