Relevant Experience

A geologist /Hydrogeologist with more than 5 years of private and government experience, encompassing

technical, task management level environmental, hydrogeologic and geologic consulting. Expertise in

environmental and hydrogeologic investigation, multimedia sampling, groundwater monitoring,

groundwater modeling and contaminant transport, soil and groundwater remediation, feasibility studies,

corrective action plans.

Currently working as a Hydrogeologist with CH2M HILL on various industrial sites, since

2006.

* Managed multiple tasks for various environmental and remedial investigation projects, successfully

completing projects on schedule and budget. Prepared proposals, work plans, field standard operating

procedures and investigative reports.

* Led multiple site investigation field activities including monitoring well drilling and installation,

groundwater and soil sampling and vapor intrusion investigations.

* Completed high profile groundwater modeling projects in support of water supply and aquifer

remediation projects. Provided groundwater modeling technical support to a high profile litigation project.

* Successfully implemented project health and safety policies resulting with zero health and safety

incident.

Worked with Kansas Department of Health and Environment from 2005 2006 as a

geologist/groundwater modeler on assigned projects in the investigative unit where ongoing

investigation and cleanup is occurring.

* Evaluated investigative, monitoring, and general remedial progress. Interacted with consultants and the

public to review, present and negotiate all aspects of project management

* Conducted analysis and interpretation of geologic and other technical data to identify and develop

solutions to project specific environmental problems

Distinguishing qualifications

Strong groundwater modeling skills including MODFLOW, GROUNDWATER VISTAS (GV),

AQTESOLV, BIOSCREEN and NAS

Extensive knowledge of geospatial data analysis using geostatistical modeling software including:

kriging, variogram and polynomial regression

Excellent experience in remote sensing (ERDAS), GIS (ARC GIS), Surfer and SigmaPlot software

USEPA Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), Long Term Monitoring and Optimization

(LTMO) trainings

Among few researchers to use and calibrate Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) to measure insitu

moisture content of landfill soil caps

Current 40 hours HAZWOPER, Site safety coordinator trained
