practices and the organization of new physician practices. Assisted in the
recruitment process for new physicians and the transition of physicians
from being hospital-employed to private practice.
Director of West Occupational Care, June 2000 - January 2002
Managed the activities of an occupational medicine clinic as well as an
employee assistance program and the D.O.T. required Drug and Alcohol
collections service. Responsibilities included policy and procedure
development, budget preparation and management, personnel management, and
basic product marketing. Gained further insight into worker compensation
issues and polished customer satisfaction skills.
Director of Biomedical Engineering, October 1978 - June 2000
Initial responsibilities included equipment management, maintenance, and
repair of all patient care equipment. Became responsible for the selection,
installment, implementation, and management of two uniquely different
computerized maintenance management systems. Additionally assumed the
management of the Communications Center and the role of Safety Officer for
the corporation in 1994. Managed the hospital-wide process to collect and
evaluate information about hazards and safety practices that are used to
identify safety management issues. Became Property Manager for the
corporation and the manager of the maintenance of eight off-campus
buildings in 1995. Gained insight into corporate liability issues as well
as considerable financial management experience. Designed and maintained
the in-house Security Department for the corporation in 1998 including
policy and procedure development, established staffing requirements, and
created an operating budget. Obtained extensive knowledge about corporate
security risks and worked on the development of processes to mitigate those
risks.
IdleAire Technologies Corporation, Corporate Office, Knoxville, TN
Maintenance Technician, February 2007 - January 2010
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance including troubleshooting and
timely repair required to maintain 100% availability of service to IdleAire
parking spaces as well as on going preventative maintenance and upgrades to
IdleAire equipment. Ability to operate scissor lift on the ground and in
air with compliance to IdleAire and OSHA safety regulations. Assist in
providing a safe and clean work environment. Assist operations personnel
and truck drivers with IdleAire equipment service issues.

Lumber Trader, March 2006 - July 2006
Through the use of the telephone and published demographics identify
potential customers of lumber purchased directly from the mill or from a
remanufacturing business. Ability to find lumber products from suppliers
that customers require in their operation. Ability to develop a customer
base 20-30 accounts that utilize lumber products in order to maintain solid
supplier relationships. Keep customers informed of market movements and
lumber availability. Be a strong time manager to set high goals and

Compliance Specialist, March 2005 - March 2006
With minimal supervision provides Department of Transportation safety
compliance consulting services to clients located throughout the country.
Services include driver log auditing for hours of service compliance,
driver qualification file review, drug and alcohol testing consultation to
meet D.O.T. requirements. These services are performed through the use of
computers and software (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Keller's Log
Checker), the telephone system, and fax machine. Real-time consulting is
performed through the use of the telephone, e-mail, and voice mail. A
thorough knowledge of the regulations is supplemented by access to online
regulations at the federal and state level. Coordination of office
activities is performed in the owner's absence.
Reames Golf and Country Club, Klamath Falls, OR
Club Manager, December 2002 - October 2004
Responsibilities included the operations of the bar, restaurant, swimming
pool, banquet facilities and exterior buildings. Managed annual sales of
approximately $500,000 and over 20 employees. Implemented a new member
recruitment campaign that resulted in 104 new members. Significantly
improved the overall financial position of the club resulting in the
ability to implement capital improvements to the course.
