I ensured cost-effective, long-term, strategic corporate success through
effective application of emerging technologies. Embracing the
responsibility of an expanding senior IT management role, I produced full
organizational system and network functionality, maximizing capabilities
and improving end-user satisfaction.
Building and implementing effective IT project plans, I directed impactful
cross-functional teams to positively shift organizational direction and
achieve rapid and consistent success. Proactively accessing and mining
data, I transformed complex information into ad hoc reports to identify
trends and threats, and improve vendor and customer relations.
o Applying new technologies to position business for growth and
profitability
o Evaluating and prioritizing technology and business projects to
increase efficiency and profits
o Directing UNIX to SQL and dBase IV to SQL database migrations
o Creating and implementing ISO 9001 quality management system
o Designing and launching E-commerce sites that grew customer base and
revenues
I earned a BS and MS in Computer Science from American College and a MBA
from American Sentinel University. The Master's Thesis I composed on Radio
Frequency Identification Technology (RFID) was published twice. Colleagues
commended me for remaining calm under pressure and leading profit-oriented
teams to success.

Selected Accomplishments
Slashed vendor costs. International Marketing, Inc. (IMI) was burdened by
an extreme reliance on vendors, costing the company $750K annually.
Restructured technical operations, moving 95% of outsourced services in-
house. Added staff and training program and revised vendor controls.
Decreased vendor-related costs by 75%.
Resolved productivity challenge. Identified production lag as Jerr-Dan
machinists waited for CNC program data. Developed a Direct Numeric Control
(DNC) system, transferring all programs to a server. Wrote new software
that allowed machinists to individually identify and download new programs.
Improved productivity and reduced downtime 30%.
Resurrected IT program. IMI's efforts to track fleet trucks and trailers
using RFID and GPS technologies was on hold. Re-engineered strategic plan,
dividing into three phases. Re-engaged hardware and software engineers,
personally writing code and designing electronics. Tested and launched
ahead of schedule, driving $100K in revenue and securing on-going company
royalties.
Drove ISO accreditation. Tasked by IMI's CEO to research and incorporate a
TQM system that would achieve ISO9001 status. Partnered with ISO
consultant, designing and integrating system in less than nine months.
Streamlined operations, improved company bid eligibility and drove
immediate 10% revenue boost.
Completed complex migration, earning full-time position. Hired by IMI to
complete a UNIX to SQL data migration that had failed on the first attempt.
Completed assignment within two weeks, imbedding additional reporting
capabilities and training internal staff. Promoted to VP of Technology.
