Army Material Research, Development, and Engineering Command Software
Engineering Directorate on the US Army PEO C3T-SPO Independent Test &
Evaluation Team
. Part of a team of Systems Engineers, Operations Research Analysts, and
Software Engineers working with the end-user, the U.S. Border Patrol.
Perform systems engineering analysis in the Independent Test and
Evaluation (IT&E) of the SBInet system
. Developed a System Evaluation Plan that addresses operational mission
effectiveness, system suitability, and system survivability of the
SBInet system fielded in the U.S. Southern Border
. Collaborated on software tools development ensuring analysis
capabilities requirements are met; System designs are compatible;
Designs and requirements meet applicable standards; and Unique
customer requirements are met
. Use approved technical approaches to ensure all design decisions are
evaluated analytically and in a systematic manner
. Collaborated on the development of a software database for defining
and tracking COI/MOE/MOP, ensuring that these key performance
parameters track with the customer requirements
. Collaborated on the development of a software database to manage
operational testing documentation, and to ensure data collection
addresses all system test objectives
Security Equipment Integrated Working Group (SEIWG) - Under the DOD
Physical Security Equipment Action Group (PSEAG)
Task Lead reporting directly to the SEIWG Army Prime
. Responsible for leading integrated team in the development and
maintenance of security equipment interface control documentation,
including system, technical, and operational views
. Management of appropriated budget, technical oversight of contractor
data analysis and reporting support, and publicize/grow business
. Brief regularly to multiple sensor standards communities; Liaison and
voting member on the MASINT Configuration Control Board
Medium Extended Air Defense Systems (MEADS)
MEADS is a NATO-partnered air defense system
. Provide Configuration Management and Requirements Management support
to NAMEADSMA and the US MEADS NPO
. Generate & maintain a DOORS Database of all requirements and provide
System Requirements Traceability Reports
. Coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical
parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and
program interfaces
. US MEADS NPO liason to Germany and Italy at weekly control boards
Automated Installation Entry (AIE)
. Provide systems engineering support in the conceptual stages of the
system design, developing a System Engineering Plan and Requirements
Traceability Matrix.
. Apply reliability engineering to calculate power versus load
confidence intervals and develop trade-offs
07/2006 - 09/2008 UAH Center for Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis

. Developed and maintained a database of several current and previous
U.S. spacecraft to establish the engineering relationships between
spacecraft total power and instrument power, and the effect apogee,
aviation mission type, and aviation program type have on this power
ratio
. Utilized MATLAB statistical software for algorithm development, data
visualization, data analysis, and numeric computation
. Part of an interdisciplinary team designing a lunar rover as a
precursor mission to Ares V
. SME on AGI Satellite Tool Kit (STK) software, integrating STK's data
collection and visualization capabilities with Perl programming
applications
01/2006 - 05/2006 Aerospace Senior Design Project
