In the last year, Gill-Story has attended Concord Law School in an effort

to obtain a Law Degree and specialize in Employment Law. She continues as

a PT student. Gill-Story authored a Supervisor Training manual in 2003

that was utilized in 26 companies within the Corporate structure. She

reduced the W/Comp injuries at her facility via intense Safety Training

from 33.3% to 3% in one year. Non-Exempt and Exempt turnover was

successfully decreased from 33% to 20% (non-exempt) and 22% to 2% (exempt)

following the introduction of Supervisor Training. Recognized by the

Secretary of State in Arkansas with an Outstanding Citizen Citation.

Employment Director of Human Resources & Staff Development, Youth and

Family Centered Services, Austin, TX

History Responsible for people development function of 350 + employees

in a JCAHO Long Term Care Residential facility. Managed

Policies and Procedures, Code of Compliance and Training,

Orientation, Recruiting/Retention exempt and non-exempt

employees. Interviewed, Hired and placed new employees to

include Orientation and Code of Compliance Training; evaluated

Human relations and work-related problems via meeting with

Supervisors and Managers to determine effective redemption

techniques to resolve human relations issues among personnel.

Responsible for Affirmative Action Annual Reports, Monthly /

Annual OSHA & W/Comp Reports. Company representative in

Employment Appeals, EEOC complaints, and Federal/State

inspections. Administered all Employee Benefit plans to include

Cafeteria Plan, COBRA, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD

& LTD. Participated in the Annual Budgetary process and

Authored a Supervisor Training Manual - utilized in (26)

annually, refreshers or PRN. Dropped W/Comp rate to 3% in one

Human Resources Manager & Asst. Admin. Holiday Island Suburban

Improvement District

Responsible for formulating, developing, recommending, and

maintaining the city's Human Resources Policies, Procedures,

Practices, Recruiting / Retention, and specialized projects

including Management of Public Bids for Capital Expenditures,

and strong Public Relations with Property owners and visitors.

Interviewed, placed, and followed-up on job placements for Water

/ Wastewater, Roads, Recreation, Fire, Maintenance, Business,

Golf Pro Shops and Restaurant Departments. Assisted in the

Marketing of HISID and managed Employee Benefits, Payroll, Drug

Testing, EEO complaints, EEO-1 reports, W/Comp/ AA Reports and

401k plan-- including City investments. Conducted Initial

Orientation, Continuing Education, Training, Development and

Employee Investigations. Prepared and presented meetings with

Descriptions and Marketing. Contracted with employers to

develop sound P & P manuals, Employee Manuals, and trained

personnel in supervisory capacities regarding Federal employment

Community Outreach Specialist/Recruiter, St. Mary's Hospital,

Rogers, AR

Administrated the Physical Medicine Department at the Hospital

as well as prepared Marketing programs, Contracts, Proposals,

and Cost Analysis studies. Recruited statewide for SLP's, OT's,

and RPT's for Hospital and Long Term Care facilities in AR and

MO. Proposed contracts for LTC facilities to utilize contract

company's physical medicine teams. Worked in the position of

Rehab Manager at LTC facilities in NW AR. Tripled outpatient

revenue in first 4 months of employment via marketing at

hospital location. Assisted St Mary's in a transition from

JCAHO to Medicare approved. Supervision of People Development

relations in the Benton County community.

Controlled all administrative functions including Personnel,

Recruiting, and Orientation of Ancillary operations, Contracts,

Proposals, Budgets, Marketing, PR, and consistent in-services

for continuing education for employees in ancillary. Prepared

for Federal and State inspections. Increased revenue in eight

(8) months from 400k annually to 1.2 million.
