Company Summary-90 year old Lawn and Garden Distribution Company and retail

service organization representing over 200 manufacturers in the industry.

Customer base is a mix of independent garden centers and national accounts.

Directed a sales staff of 8 and managed all major accounts for a 30+

million dollar business

Reorganized sales division, eliminated non performers, hired new talent,

opened up Michigan market

products selective and non selective weed control products, growing media

and bark mulch products. Scotts has in the past also marketed flower and

vegetable seed under the Burpee brand, lawn sprinklers, cutting tools and

Managed, mentored and trained a staff of 9 Sales people, a training

manager, 24 merchandisers and 20 weekend counselors. My primary objective

was overseeing all of the sales and merchandising activity within the

greater Chicago area. Through vigilant leadership and direction my staff

achieved corporate goals, budgets and objectives consistently. Duties

included; hiring, training, managing, forecasting, developing strategic

growth plans. Develop and administer budgets. Insured that the inventory
