PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

Developed a database program (in Progress) which uploaded ADP payroll data to Syteline ERP application for use in the

Accounting module. Analyzed the structure and format of the ADP payroll data, developed the program and tested the upload

with evaluations from ADP and the Accounting team. Successful delivery of the program decreased data entry time from 5 6

hours to less than 5 minutes.

Developed MS Excel VBA application to upload forecasting data. The Business Analyst generates a 6 month forecast for sales (in

Excel) which would normally have to be entered manually by data entry personnel into the Syteline ERP. This application

eliminated the need of data entry by taking the Excel file created by the BA, translates it into a format usable by Syteline, and

uploaded the data to be used by the Syteline Forecasting module. The time to enter forecast data went from 2 hours down to 4

minutes.

Observed a need to create a MS Access database to import historical data from Syteline ERP. Generated comma delimited text

files from backbone files in Syteline, performed necessary changes to import these file accurately into Access. Created various

GUI interfaces (forms, reports, queries) which allowed users to filter and total data as needed. Importing the data increased the

speed and efficiency of the operation of the Syteline ERP applications/modules.

Developed the Hubble Space Telescope model for the space simulator. Received requirements from the Space Training

Command, translated these requirements into a working model (using FORTRAN), integrated and tested the model with other

parts of the space simulator, and delivered the model on time. Received commendations from the company VP and the STC

Director.

Resolved a communication issue with the space shuttle and Spacelab simulators during training. Analyzed the communication

paradigm of the space shuttle and Spacelab systems, analyzed the software systems involved, discovered and resolved the

problem. The fix allowed for the continuation of training and a savings of over $67,000.00 per simulation hour. Received

commendation from NASA training director.
