Industrial Mechanic:
. Rebuild axial, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and
electric motors,
. Replace, repack, repair valves
. Install mechanical seals
. Retrofit pumps with mechanical seals
. Manufacture, from raw stock, using shop and field equipment,
replacement components of mechanical equipment, such as;
threaded pump shafts with bearing surfaces, machinery housings,
machinery mounts and specialized equipment
. Repair of mechanical components such as; industrial machines,
pumps, shafts, electric motors, gear boxes,
. Install and align mechanical, electrical and instrumentation
equipment
. Weld, machine and or fabricate to repair or improve OEM
equipment

Communication:
. Instruction of apprentices in; machine shop knowledge and
skills, industrial preventive maintenance practices, industrial
equipment rebuilding, root-cause failure analysis, equipment
trouble shooting, metallurgy, welding, blue print reading and
drawing, precision measurement techniques, crane operation,
signaling and rigging
. Helped developed tool and equipment specification documents for
new mill to ensure equipment would meet present and future
requirements

. Learned; AUTOCAD 2000, MS office, MS project and MS word to
improve organization and documentation of assigned tasks

industrial equipment

story line, show elements and artistic expression
