Max-Wellness, LLC - SVP Finance & Administration (2009-Present)
. Max-Wellness was founded by Michael Feuer, co-founder and former
CEO of OfficeMax, the international retail office products
superstore chain, and Jared Florian, a successful owner and
operator of six national mail-order catalogs. It is a new retail
concept catering to the baby boomer generation. The store offers a
wide range of health and wellness products from vitamins &
supplements to Durable Medical Equipment, such as wheelchairs &
walkers.
. Responsibilities are all inclusive of building a financial team
responsible for the Accounting, Finance, Information Technology,
and Administrative functions of this new venture.
. Accomplishments to date include creation and implementation of
financial controls for the entity; selection of and implementation
of our POS/Merchandising system provider; selection of a payroll
service provider; selection, design, and implementation of a new
general ledger package; building the financial components of a
Private Placement Memorandum; and assisting with the opening of the
first three Max-Wellness store locations.

Accounting (2007-2009)
. Supervision of a staff of 8 responsible for the annual planning /
budgeting, monthly forecasting, and management reporting of a $5
Billion sales division comprised of over 3000 store locations, 1700
sales reps, and hundreds of administrative cost centers in the US &
Canada.
. Responsible for the integration of the accounting for acquisitions
including the Duron Paints acquisition ($400MM in sales), M.A.
Bruder Paint acquisition ($145MM in sales) as well as the Columbia
Paints acquisition ($75MM in sales). These also included
operational analysis in regard to pricing, product costing, product
& size pack conversion, etc.
Sherwin-Williams Corporation - Director, Stores Accounting (2003-2007)
. Supervised a staff of 50+ responsible for the general accounting of
a $5 Billion sales division in the US & Canada. Responsible for
monitoring & ensuring the compliance of contingency plans during
slow sales and profitability periods. Also responsible for numerous
analyses including store & rep performance, expense trends, pricing
decisions, administrative expense performance, etc.
Sherwin-Williams Corporation - Manager, Stores Accounting (2000-2003)
. Responsible for general accounting, accounting of fixed assets and
real estate for the Paint Stores Division. Provided monthly
schedules of acquisition proformas versus actual results.
Sherwin-Williams Corporation - Manager, Merchandise Control (2000-2000)
. Supervised a staff of 4 responsible for the integrity of the
product database which is comprised of over 150,000 products.
Coordinated the analysis of new product proformas with input from
the Buying Department. Provided product level analysis of national
promotions with assistance of Advertising and Buying Departments.

. Supervision of a staff of 8 responsible for the balance sheets and
P&L's of the Stores Group of Sherwin-Williams. Responsible for
monthly financial reporting which requires both knowledge of GAAP
as well as a thorough understanding of the business reasons
underlying the financial results
Vestax Securities Corporation - Controller (1997-1998)
. Supervision of a staff of six including the Accounting and
Commissions Departments. Designed and implemented numerous
streamlining measures which provided the ability to reduce the
monthly closing from 16 to four working days. Incorporated
departmental budgets and reporting.
American Spring Wire Corporation - Financial Analyst (1995-1997)
. Analysis of possible product line changes, machine efficiencies,
corporate demographics, budget variances & costs of failure.
Proforma reporting of possible acquisitions and product
eliminations. Working with top management on annual budgets. Assist
others in the company with database & spreadsheet design including
the development of a sales forecasting program and the development
of a product costing program.
