I started with ValleyCrest as the Director of Golf Course
Maintenance at Bonaventure Resort and Country Club. After only
a few short months, I was promoted to Regional Manager, where
I am responsible for over 80 holes of golf, ranging from the
high-end resort to the daily fee course. Upon my arrival at
Bonaventure I immediately began an aggressive turfgrass
conditioning renovation and bunker restoration program to help
restore Bonaventure back to its former glory when players like
Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia walked her fairways. My
accomplishments include:
Overseeing all stages of a state-of-the-art computerized
irrigation upgrade for a 30-year-old manual system, from
planning and permitting to contractor selection, resulting in
improved turf quality and significant water reduction
Significantly improved golf course playing conditions, thus
increasing membership and daily fee revenue
Planed and executed a bunker renovation program for over 170
bunkers with greens side bunkers receiving a geo-fabric liner
Reconstructed and renovated 30 year of Dwarf greens to
Champions the latest Ultra Dwarf turfgrass
Enrolled all of the clubs under my management into the Audubon
Sanctuary Program

I came to OneSource Golf Services in 2000 after accepting a
position to "resurrect" their Pompano Beach contract, which
was in jeopardy of termination. Upon my arrival, I immediately
became involved in a $2.8 million course-renovation project
and a $385,000 irrigation upgrade and conversion project (from
Toro Vari-time to Toro Osmac). My accomplishments included:
Overseeing all stages of construction, from earth-moving to
finish-grading to grow-in
Greatly improving customer relations resulting in the renewal
of the contract for an additional 5-year term (It bears note
that prior to my arrival, OneSource was served notice of
contract termination.)
Managing and aiding in design of $175,000 state-of-the-art
maintenance building construction project

During my employment with Meadowbrook Golf Group, I became
known as a "Trouble Shooter," relocating to courses that were
not performing up to standards. At each course, I was able to
greatly improve playing conditions, strengthen membership
relations and streamline the budget process. Projects

Renovating over 200 bunkers and reconstructing numerous greens
and putting surfaces
Overseeing and designing cart path projects with costs
exceeding $340,000
