Scholarship
Awarded the German DAAD scholarship to carry out part of Masters Project at Fraunhofer-
Institute for Laser Technique, RWTH-Aachen, Germany under the guidance of Prof Reinhart
Poprawe from October 1st 2005 to May 31st 2006. Work included various laser cladding
processes, evaluating and proposing appropriate procedures for defect free coating. Design
of noble way to form stress free coating.
Work Experience
Worked as a research assistant at the paint lab, IIT-Bombay, India, from Dec. 2006 to
July 2007.
Worked as a teaching assistant at the department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials, North
Dakota State University, Fargo, from August 2009 to December 2009.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Attended regular seminars and workshop on improving communication and presentation
skills at IIT-Bombay, India.
Participated actively in “Intercultural communication” seminars and workshops organized
by RWTH Aachen, Germany from 14th to 16th January 2006.
