Project: Blue Canyon Wind Farm Project
Scope of work involved installing 67 foundations for Horizon Energy. Type:
GE 1.5 wind turbines

. Established elevation for all rock socket foundations and spread
foundations.
. Structural Quality Control - Inspection of completed super structures
. Collaboration with updates to Assistant Project Engineer
. Prepare work day with drawings
. Responsible for professional appearance and relationships with

. Supervised three different crews: foundations, mudmat, and grout.
. Preformed punch list closeout of project.
OPERATION MANAGER, McNeely Concrete and Construction Company, Inc. 2008 -
2009
Scope of work involved extensive remolding projects. Will provided
photograph of said projects upon request.
SUPERINTENDENT, D. S. Simmons, Inc. 2007 - 2008
Project: BMW Plant Paint Project 2.4 million sq ft Plant Expansion in
Greer, SC
Scope of work involved installing caisson installations and pouring footers
for $120M subcontract for Walbridge Aldinger Construction Company. Managed
a 12-man crew supervising all pours and equipment. Scope of work was 93%
complete within three months, which was ahead of the 12-month projected
timeline.
FIELD ENGINEER, Pizzagalli Construction Company 2006 - 2007
Project: Sugar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion in Charlotte, NC
Performed necessary field engineering to complete the installation of the
new pump station, backup basin and ductile iron pipe. Specific
responsibilities included technical advising, calculation assistance, new
field engineer training, organizing computer files, establishing sound
field and office procedures, checking calculations and field work,
coordinating engineering & surveying activities. Required skills:

Project: Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project/US Route 1 Interchange VA67-VDOT in
Alexandria, VA.
Performed engineering and layout of the bridges for the US Route 1
Interchange Project. Numerous bridges for the various sections of the
interchange were completed on schedule within fifteen months. I supported
project management with the structural layout from offset to baseline
points. Requirements for this position were:

Projects: Various Bridge Maintenance Projects in North and South Carolina
Internship involved providing field-engineering support and oversees the
quality of work to meet Department of Transportation specifications for
both North Carolina and South Carolina bridge maintenance construction
projects. This position involved light survey work and beam analysis. In
addition, specific responsibilities included providing data to management
for the estimating process, bidding process and project materials
purchasing requirements to complete bidding on projects. Specific
responsibilities involved supervising crews in various phases of bridge
construction.
SUPERINTENDENT, Turner Murphy Company, Inc. 2000
Project: Kerr Lake Regional Water Treatment Plant Renovation in Henderson,
NC
Supervised crew operations in upgrading the processing facility from liquid
chlorine to sodium hypo-chloride. Specific responsibilities included
setting up the jobsite, permits, construction scheduling, materials
purchasing, rental equipment, budgeting, estimating of change orders, cost
management and surveying. One of my main responsibilities was for the
construction of the concrete containment aeration basins and holding tanks.
This job also involved installation of 48" ductile iron pipe with
mechanical joints and double tees.
VICE PRESIDENT-OPERATIONS, McNeely Concrete and Construction, Inc. 2000
Projects: Walgreen's Pharmacy Stores (Concord, Belmont, & Kannapolis) and
Fairfield Mountain Resort Estates Retaining Wall Project
Managed the operations for the business. Specific responsibilities
involved the estimating & bidding process for commercial subcontracts.
Supervised each project and crew involved in all concrete pours for design
build projects for small commercial (retail chains) and residential
construction requiring knowledge of proper procedures for design of
Polysteel retention system. Fairfield Mountain required knowledge of civil
engineering and hydrologic design requirements for the retention wall
system.
CONCRETE SUPERINTENDENT, Pizzagalli Construction Company 1999 - 2000
Project: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Erwin Creek Waste Water Treatment
Plant Expansion
Lead Carpenter overseeing concrete placement, finishing, and form
carpentry. Specific responsibilities included layout of line and grade for
clarifiers and mechanical work to set ductile iron pipe. Occasional
operation of backhoe and track hoe was required.
CONCRETE SUPERINTENDENT, Metric Constructors 1997 - 1999
Project: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities McAlpine Waste Water Treatment
Plant Expansion
Lead supervisor of eleven form carpenters, thirteen concrete finishers and
six laborers for expansion of facility. Specific responsibilities required
the following skills: determining layout of line and grade for clarifiers
and facilities, welding (arc), budgeting, expense tracking, engineering
concrete forms, scheduling and placing concrete. Occasional operation
required of backhoe and track hoe.
CONCRETE SUPERINTENDENT, Balfour Beatty 1995 - 1997
Project: City of Gastonia Long Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion
Supervised a six-man carpentry crew, eight operators, and twelve concrete
finishers for completion of clarifiers and hypochlorite facility. Completed
largest concrete pour in the history of Balfour Beatty on site. Specific
responsibilities included line and grade work, design and engineering of
concrete form systems, welding (arc), budgeting and expense tracking, form
carpentry. Also, some backhoe and track hoe operations were required.
FOREMAN, Brasfield & Gorie 1994 - 1995
Project: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities North Mecklenburg Water Treatment
Plant
I was responsible for concrete placement, finishing and carpentry. Gang
forms were stick built. The job required welding (arc), backhoe
operations, line and grade work, mechanical pipe setting, maintenance and
acquisition of concrete forms.
LEAD CARPENTER, Miller & Long Construction Company 1993 - 1994
Project: Charlotte Mecklenburg NFL Panther Stadium
Position involved a team effort of 20 Lead Carpenters placing various
assigned sections to build concrete forms, placement and finish on site.
Specific responsibilities entailed the building of forms, placing and
finishing of concrete for the rakers, ramps and stairwells in the stadium.
CARPENTER/MILL WRIGHT, Tidewater Construction Company 1991 - 1993
Project: Westvaco Plant Renovation in Covington, Virginia
This project was a major renovation of the plant involving concrete
placement for Tidewater which now Tidewater Skanska. Specific
responsibilities involved for building forms for 438-foot emissions stack
and installing scaffolding inside Honeywell TDC Boiler. Contributed to the
building and pouring of concrete for three designated digesters.
Additional responsibilities included elevation shots, welding, setting
machinery, millwright work, and demolition. Apprenticed as a Journeyman
Carpenter and Mill Wright on this job. Worked in a team driven
environment.
