Lead quick turnaround of OnStar's IT unit. Development was struggling with
significant turnover and delivery problems. Directed comprehensive resource
inventory of talent, vendors and physical assets. Identified key issues and
implemented corrective action plans. Eliminated 85% of root causes and
saved $9M in 10 months.
Realigned management team and cut costs $8.9M. GM North America (GMNA)
Business Services had a poor performance record. Reorganized management
team and forced actions including exiting of non-performers. Initiated new
coaching and training processes. Quickly reduced an inherited $12.7M budget
shortfall by 70%.

controls. Achieved 100% in first time quality and improved systems delivery
20 points from 74%.
New architecture reduces non-value added costs 79%. GM's non-value added
costs being passed-on to dealers were excessive. Reengineered a global
retail process, developing a dealer workbench solution with agnostic
architecture seamlessly linking GM and dealer systems. Eliminated $143 of
$180 of costs per vehicle.
Designed new Managed Service Provider (MSP) call center solution. GM's Call
