General Manager
I was promoted to General Manager from our sister store Huntersville Ford, where I Served as Director of Fixed Operations for 8
years. I carried a proven track record of solid financial performance, personnel management and firm leadership to a newly acquired
dealership which has produced immediate improvements in all departments.
Currently averaging $2,300.00 Per Vehicle Sold on our way to our goal of $3,000.00 with a
Warranty penetration of 60%.
While faced with new vehicle inventory shortages and declining sales, I focused efforts on
pre owned sales and managed a net increase in total unit sales by more than 40% over
prior year.
By working closely with Service Department personnel have increased awareness and
improved customer satisfaction scores. Additionally, by implementing proper price

marketing/advertising. I maintained the highest standards of performance among Parts and Service personnel, and consistently
outperformed the region in business development and sales.
Increased Service Expense absorption from 67% to 88% through gross profit improvements
as well as aggressive cost controls.
Maintained one of the highest customer retention percentages (47%) in the nation for nearly
a decade.
NEIL POPE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP – Atlanta Ga. 06/98 to 09/01
Director Fixed Operations
At Neil Pope, in addition to managing fixed operations, I directed the effort to achieve Chryslers 5 Star certification for each of my
four year. I improved CSI, implemented process improvements for both Parts and Service and directed facility improvements.
Located among a high immigrant population, I worked with the local community to build goodwill and capture the available local
business.
Increased Service repair order traffic by 41% and improved our per ticket performance to

ran 3 shifts totaling 72 technicians and 14 parts personnel and consistently maintained one of the lowest average days in
reconditioning, 4.2.

Service Manager
I began my automotive career as a detail dept manager for Rick Hendrick in a multi
franchise store consisting of BMW, Chevrolet, Porsche, and Subaru. I turned an expense
dept. into a revenue dept. by introducing retail detail services through the Service Dept. and
within 6 months was promoted to service advisor. I was promoted to Chevrolet Service
Manager 10 months later under a new parts and service director.
United States Marine Corps 10/82 to 08/92
Intelligence Analyst/Korean Linguist
While serving in the Marines I was assigned to the National Security Agency as an
Intelligence Analyst and carried a Top Secret SI clearance. I was recognized as the
youngest member of the Marines to brief the Director of National Security on intelligence
matters in North Korea. I was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal for service
at NSA and was later asked to help develop a Radio Reconnaissance Unit for tactical
intelligence gathering.
