Materials Manager (Supply Chain Manager) (1997 – 2009)

Responsibilities include complete planning cycle at the plant level MPS, MRP, Purchasing (MRO & Raw Materials),

Shop Floor Control, Inventory planning and control, stores, receiving and shipping, contract sterilization, logistics for

incoming materials and outgoing finished goods for Puerto Rico facilities.

Accomplishments

Reduced raw materials inventory by $200,000.00,

Printed materials reduction of $65,000 per year by printing labels in-house

Purchase price reductions approximately of $250,000

Physical inventory count reduction from 3 days to 1 approximate annual saving of $36,000

Distribution Coordinator (1994-1996)

Established and managed International Distribution for customers located in 52 countries around the world.

Developed/established both domestic and international inventory requirements, trained and established customer

service/order entry personnel, implemented software modules for sales, invoicing, and collection functions to support

direct distribution. Consolidated inventories at corporate headquarters, trained customer service functions and

transferred responsibilities to corporate customer service and collections.

million (transfer cost) annually sales manufacturing operation.

Saved the company $500,000 annually by reducing overhead indirect labor cost through plant re-engineering.

Attained labor savings exceeding $250,000 annually by improving plant performance to established standards.

Reduced materials and assembly cost of $500,000 per year by identifying and implementing process changes and
