ANY OTHER INFORMATION
PROJECTS:
• Priority Based Fair Scheduling of Packets to improve QoS in VoIP.
Description: Developed Simulink Model for scheduling of voice and data packets so as to provide equal degree of
fairness to each user irrespective of their location from the router for improving QoS in VoIP.
• Study of Blocking Probability in Multi-Domain WDM optical network
Description: Developed routing mechanism and compared Blocking Probability with wavelength conversion and
without wavelength conversion taking place at both gateway nodes in multi-domain network. The whole simulation
work has been carried out in C.
• Determination of Blocking Probability in a randomly generated network
Description: Under this project a single domain network is randomly generated and connections are established
using Poisson Distribution, resulting in some connections getting blocked .The blocking probability reduces as the
network resources increases. The whole simulation model has been constructed in C.
