1981-1983 United States Senate. Staff Assistant to the Honorable Senator Henry M. Jackson. Duties
included personal traveling assistant to the Senator, legislative case work, and working with various
federal agencies to resolve disputes with constituents.
1983-1985 United Pacific/Reliance Insurance Company. Underwriter trainee at National Home Office.
Specialized in contract and commercial surety.
1985-1986 The Insco/Dico Group. Contract Underwriter. Specialized in small to medium sized
contractors and developers who required contract and subdivision bonds.
1986-1991 Amwest Surety Insurance Company. Vice President of National Surety Operations.
Spearheaded the establishment and management of 30 nationwide branch offices including the
development of a national agency base.
1991-1993 Midwest Indemnity Vice President of Southern Region. Responsible for the growth and
management of 11 Southern States.
1993-2002 Anthony & Morgan Surety & Insurance Services, Inc. President and CEO. Established and
developed a “surety only” agency producing over 22 million in annual surety premiums. Established
proprietary software to process commercial bonds in all 50 States, developed eleven new innovative
surety products, and wrote some of the largest contract accounts in the world. Agency sold in 2002.
2007-Present Habitat for Humanity International, Team Leader: Managing groups of 20 or more in
developing countries to build affordable housing worldwide, concentrating on Southeast Asia, and
participating on projects in Thailand, Fiji, Vietnam, and Indonesia since 2007.
