Avionics Technician - Perform aircraft electrical or electronic systems bench and/or flight
line operational testing, to include troubleshooting, adjustment, repair, and complete
installation of various complex avionics and electrical aircraft systems. Accomplish
accurate testing, and modification of aircraft and related sub-components in accordance
with Department of Defense (DoD), Boeing manufacturer, supplier, and Original
Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Performed other maintenance directives as per
Modification Work Orders (MWOs), as well as perform assembly, installation, check-out
physical characteristics, operational testing and modification of wiring on the C-17 and
the KC-135. Quality Control Inspector able to perform final inspection on maintenance
preformed to instill highest integrity of workmanship. Developed the Manufacturing
Self-Examination (MSE) certification process for all foreign contract sales and created
the qualification check sheets identifying the processes that the customer uses to buy
from Boeing. Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance is performed in compliance
with contractual guidelines as awarded through Acquisition. This oversight covers every

Aviation Maintenance Technician – Supervised and trained nine (9) subordinates, four (4)
Lead Technicians, and operated as Shift Expediter for 13 personnel. Developed new
guidelines for time change procedures for three (3) components on the TF-34; working
hand in hand with General Electric as their sole focal point at Pope AFB, NC. Planned,
organized, and directed aerospace propulsion maintenance activities to interpret and
implement directives and publications pertaining to maintenance functions, including
environmentally safe maintenance practices. Determined resource requirements,
including facilities, equipment, and supplies as well as inspect and evaluate maintenance
activities. Analyzed, interpreted, and recommend maintenance actions based on
unscheduled engine removals and engine monitoring test stands. Conducted engine
management analyze, scheduling engine removals; recommend forecast actions to the
weekly and monthly maintenance schedules. Performed engine maintenance and repair
ensuring serviceability of transient for the KC-135, C-5, C-17, A-10, and C-130 aircraft.
Cross-Utilization Trains (CUT) personnel in six (6) separate Air Force Specialty Codes
(AFSCs) on limited engine systems and subsystems. Maintained/acquired certification
and competency on three (3) airframes. Gains CUT proficiency in three (3) AFSCs.
Performed en-route ground handling functions to include; aircraft inspections,
launch/recovery, tows, and servicing to instill optimal operational proficiency. Performed
diagnostic troubleshooting to determine repair procedures on aircraft engines and repair
malfunctions using technical publications. Solve maintenance problems by studying
drawings, wiring and schematic diagrams, technical instructions, and analyzing operating
characteristics of aircraft engines and propellers in a timely manner. Inspected, certified,
and approved completed maintenance actions with 100% accuracy.
Quality Assurance Specialist 04/2006-04/2008 - Removed, installed, inspected, repaired,
and modified engines, engine modules and components, and propellers and propeller
components. Disassemble and assemble engines and propellers adhering to prescribed
procedures. Prepared engines and propellers for installation, storage, or transportation.
Tested components using bench mockups by the use of Aviation Ground Support
Equipment (AGSE) as well as Test Diagnostic Measuring Equipment (TMDE). Install
and remove engines on test stands, and operated, evaluated, and performed test stand
functions on engines. Performed operator maintenance on all associated diagnostic
equipment and maintained operator license. Inspected and maintained Engine Ground
Support Equipment (EGSE). Supervised the use, and care for special tools, hand tools,
and test equipment. Used and disposed of Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) in accordance
of all environmental governmental guidelines.
Performed and supervised aircraft Electrical and Environmental (E&E) functions and
activities to include diagnostic inspection, removal, installation, repair, modification,
overhaul, and operation of aircraft systems, components, and associated support
equipment in accordance with prescribed technical field manuals.
Responsible for spearheading a successful double engine change on an A-10 in 24 hours.
The normal standard is 72 hours. Under extensive pressure; troubleshot red-ball for APU
auto-shutdown malfunction by identifying and replacing faulty electronic control unit; as
a result, sustained a 3% ground abort rate; over the 5% Air Combat Command (ACC)
standard. Unequalled system knowledge in troubleshooting recurring engine stall
malfunctions to faulty Alpha Mach Computer; coordinated with avionics shop to replace
computer; actions avoided possible catastrophic engine failure.

Sales Associate/Customer Service Representative - Responsible for inventory control
along with cash management of daily transactions through the stores automated register
system. This system was employee ID tracked with no shortage or overage in cash
disbursement during my tenure. Responsible for daily deposits in store safe keeping cash
at a minimum in registers while validation of employee’s transactions during shift
changes. Conducted monthly inventories in excess of two million dollars and assisted in
stock control and re-supply of inventory. Possessed solid knowledge of the stores
organization and operation functions which was often called upon to work and assist
during personnel shortages. Greeted customers and provided assistance, answered
questions associated with goods sold and provided management with recommendation to
store displays to better fit the clientele and environment. Volunteered to work fund
raisers for the American Heart Association sponsored by the store.

Best Buy, Huntsville, AL
Loss Prevention Supervisor - Maintain surveillance over store inventory, perform
investigations on in-house employees and apprehend shoplifters and employees
attempting to remove store-owned retail property. Used an automated inventory control
system which tracked retail cost and administered warranty applications. These
controlled inventories were on many items considered sensitive and categorized as high-
dollar assets such as TVs, stereos, camcorders, DVD players, computers and peripherals
of all electronic categories. The store inventory equated to several million dollars and
required an extensive audit trail on all discrepancies not matching sales to inventory ratio.
Validated warranty claim information on returns from customers to ensure receipts and
purchase were valid and that the equipment in question was in fact defective.
Coordinated this process with the technical department. Greeted customers and provided
assistance in purchases on various types of electronics to include warranty and service
agreements.
