PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
American Asphalt & Grading Co., Las Vegas, NV
01/2007 -10/2008
General Contractor- Construction
Contract Administrator (Commercial/Concrete)
Responsible for maintenance of all operations contracts and subcontracts;
analyzed significant/unique contract requirements, special revisions, terms
and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations,
company policies and business unit procedures; monitored change
orders-reviews, processes and tracked all contractual documents; job cost
tracking, report maintenance, and billing/invoice processing; monitored credit
lines, collections, finance charges and account balances. Responsible for
client billings, liens, releases, and forecasting of cash flow; advised
management of contractual rights and obligations and provided interpretation
of terms and conditions.
Saved the Concrete Division $60K by producing job cost estimating and other
project manager results when the division lacked a Project Manager.
Protected our lien rights on projects that were not handled by coworkers and
caused the accounts to be over 120 days of being unpaid. Made accounts current
within 45 days except for those accounts that were already liened or in
foreclosure process.
Collected over 1 million of over 120 days aged accounts in a four month
period. These accounts were overdue to lack of account management and
reconciliation of other Contract Administrators and I was given these accounts
due to my account reconciliation skills.

02/2005 - 01/2007
General Contractor - Construction
Contract Administration Assistant
Logged and distributed contract documents to departments managers for contract
review and executing; processed and ordered jobs specific insurance (GL, WC,
Auto, Additional Insured), bid bonds, and payment and performance bonds;
prepared cash flow and 60 plus reports for upper management and investor
review; processed external contracts for approval and execution.
Improved the contract review process with implementing a procedure that made
all reviewers and handlers accountable for the contract once it was received
at our offices. This saved the company time and effort as contracts were
previously being misplaced.
Improved the insurance ordering procedure and the result was that we did not
miss items to be insured that we were contractually obligated to insurance.
Simplified the bid bond and payment & performance ordering process so that I
could contact the insurance/bond carrier directly to get our bonds in a timely
manner.
T & R Painting and Drywall, North Las Vegas, NV
06/2004 - 01/2005
Subcontractor - Painting, Drywall, and Insulation
Cost Control Administrator
Processed purchase orders and informed field superintendents of lot changes;
verified contract and purchase order
amounts per lot and phase; collected on extra work tickets from the developer
per customer option changes;
processed insulation, drywall, and paint options for housing developments.
Processed lot options each day than waiting for a pile to accumulate as they
had done in the past.
Made sure that the field superintendents collected on all extra work tickets.
This was done by making a running list each day and collecting this
information from the superintendents on a daily basis so I could contact the
customer the following morning to collect the appropriate paperwork, such as
work authorization forms.

documents for all projects. This change helped save employee time if they had
to refer to as-builts or close-out documents in the future per a customer's
request.
Analyzed costs on projects and determine and research to see if items were
miscoded and needed to be coded to other job accounts to show the accurate
costs per each project by phase code and cost type.

complete a new form.

have to have a local representative available in the Las Vegas area, which
