Professional Summary
Twenty five years as a leader, managing persons under stressful situations and in positions that required
attention to minute details. As a leader in the Air Force I was often required to ensure safety measures were
followed to exact details to prevent damage to equipment or harm to personnel. As a trainer and leader in
police work my duties often required life and death decisions and crisis management while ensuring safety of
fellow officers and the public. As a narcotics officer my decision making capabilities and communications
skills allowed me to survive life threatening situations and perform under stress to complete missions. These
skills were what made me a competent leader in the Army with the ability to implement security changes that
allowed successful missions in extreme environments. My travels throughout the world have accustomed me
to communicating with persons of many customs and religions. My attention to duties and responsibilities has
allowed me to promote above peers many times. I am self starting, loyal professional and mission focused
with the ability of adapting to many leadership and learning styles as well as using innovative training
techniques. I have held a Secret Security Clearance.

Freight Train Conductor/Engineer
• Before trains leave the station, locomotive conductors receive train orders by telephone, fax, or
computer from the dispatcher at the railroad's central office. These orders include listings of the
cargo and their routes with the scheduled stops. Conductors must make sure that the crews of their
trains understand these orders.
Conductors inspect each car of their trains, to make sure the operating mechanisms have been
•
properly monitored and are working. If the repairs cannot be made during the run, conductors
must instruct engineers to remove the defective cars. Conductors see that cars are added or
removed at the proper points for picking up or unloading cargo.
Engineers must be able to operate any locomotive the train lines use. Before and after each run,
•
they must check carefully for mechanical problems. They either make minor repairs themselves or
